My birth doula services include a complimentary interview in person, unlimited telephone support, 24/7 on-call commitment, prearranged doula backup, and resources throughout the length of my services.

I like to have two prenatal visits with my clients where I really get to know you and your hopes, concerns and preferences about your birth and early postpartum period.  I join you whenever and wherever you need support, and stay with you continuously until you are settled after birth and everyone (including baby!) is eating. I work alongside your chosen clinical caregivers respectfully and confidently.

Our first postpartum visit in the first few days after birth includes breastfeeding support, practical help and mentoring. Following this visit I am available for support over the phone and check in with my clients often in the first weeks.  The notes that I take during the birth can help you to preserve your own memories of the experience and I share these with you at a final postpartum visit within a month of the birth.  I can also take photographs during your labor and birth and we discuss your preferences prenatally.

Currently my full birth doula fee is a sliding scale of $1200-2000.  It is collected in two parts-  a Retainer fee of $600 secures my availability, covers all scheduled visits and 24 hr on-call commitment to you and your family.  The remaining sliding scale of $600-1400 is the Birth fee and covers everything else.  My full birth doula fee for returning clients is $1000-1500.  Click here for more info about a doula’s fees.
